In the Neighborhood

Minutes from Downtown Irwin, Redstone’s North Huntingdon community has easy access to specialty shops and locally owned restaurants in a quaint environment. Downtown Irwin hosts fun events throughout the year, including; Music in the Streets, the Farmer’s Market, Art & Jazz Nights, Chili Cook-Off, Light-Up Night, Gig on Main, car cruises, and fall and summer craft shows. Other local attractions include Indian Lake Park, Greenhouse Winery, and the Lamp Theatre.

At Redstone

Our North Huntingdon campus includes a villa home community, Clubhouse, and main building comprised of both apartments and personal care suites. On campus, the paved walking trail offers incredible western Pennsylvania views as it winds around our pond, through the woods, and into the villa neighborhood. Outdoor seating along the trail and around the campus provide areas to rest, reflect, or visit with neighbors.

Main Building

The interior of our main building has an old fashioned Downtown Irwin streetscape- hand painted by a family member of one of our residents. Other amenities include a contemporary dining room with a carving station and live food demonstrations. The well-stocked library has a selection of both regular and large print books. The arts and crafts room serves as a great space for special projects and card clubs. The ample space in the chapel makes it a perfect space for worship services, larger meetings, events, and guided exercise classes. Snacks, cards, necessities, and gifts made by residents & local artisans are available in our gift shop. For health enthusiasts, there is a fitness room and guided exercise classes offered regularly. Individual garages are available for apartment residents wanting to park their cars in an indoor space.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse is the hub of villa life for those residing in our villa homes. Large windows offer a spectacular view of the pond and make this the perfect setting for our residents to gather for luncheons, educational classes, and special events. The state-of-the-art fitness room is available to residents 24 hours a day.
