Whether you or your loved one needs help with activities of daily living or needs skilled nursing services, Redstone@Home is here to serve you.


Home Health Services

Designed to offer as much, or as little help as needed, our home health provides skilled services, under your doctor’s direction in the comfort of your home. Home Health Services are often covered by most insurances.

Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Upon request, we will promptly schedule a home visit to evaluate your health needs and consult with your doctor to develop a health plan. If you are hospitalized or in a skilled rehab facility, we can visit and assist you with a home transition discharge plan.

As a Medicare certified Provider, our home health professionals specialize in providing services to adults. Our team is competent, well-trained and carefully screened to provide you with the quality services and peace of mind you deserve.

Our team of nurses and therapists provide high quality care to our patients and families. Our Health Care Services include: skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aide, social work services, medicine administration, IV therapy/injections, and wound care management.

When to consider Home Health: recent hospitalization or rehabilitation center discharge, knee or hip replacement, skilled assessments and teaching, occupational, speech or physical therapy, medication changes, wound care, mobility training, Iv therapy/injections, increased weakness, change in cognition, newly using oxygen in the home, diabetic training, change in swallowing or speech.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Our highly experienced, orthopedic team aspires to meet your goals and expectations as you recover in your home. We provide individualized care, support and education throughout the therapy and rehabilitation process. Our goal is to work with you to achieve maximum independence and a quicker recovery.

Mental Health Services

Our mental health nursing services provide comprehensive home health care and promote attaining a healthy level of physical, psychological, social well-being. The quality of our staff is a result of their education, training, experience and passion for patient’s positive outcomes. We are committed to improving the mental health for our clients.




Hospice & Palliative Care Services

Hospice care provides the expertise and compassion that help older adults and their families live as fully as possible during an advanced illness. This is accomplished by building a team around the patient and family that includes clinically trained caregivers and compassionate volunteers. We enhance remaining moments by focusing on comfort and quality of life. Our team manages pain and other symptoms while also addressing the emotional, social and spiritual needs of the client and their loved ones.

At Redstone@Home, we empower our clients to make decisions about how they want to live their remaining days to create memories for those who remain behind. We encourage patients to share their goals for life with us. In turn, we work with them to make those goals a reality.

Redstone@Home hospice care provides the expertise and compassion that helps older adults and their families live as fully as possible during an advanced illness. This is accomplished by building a team around the patient and family that includes clinical professionals, trained caregivers and volunteers. This team brings skillful services and comfort while focusing on the physical symptoms as well as the emotional and spiritual concerns for the patient and their family members.

Palliative Care

Palliative care concentrates on reducing and relieving compromising symptoms to improve life for those facing complex, advanced illness. Goals of care are identified by the patient. These goals direct our interdisciplinary team’s approach to interventions. Our program provides specialized medical care including a mind and spirit approach to each individual’s management of symptoms and distress as they cope with life limiting, life altering illness and treatments.

Make it Happen

Our Make it Happen program creates special moments for patients, and their families, in our hospice care, through life affirming opportunities, celebrations and events. Whether it’s a holiday dinner with loved ones, an afternoon of watching your favorite sports team, attending a grandchild’s wedding or a day at the spa, our Make it Happen program provides life affirming opportunities and cherished memories.

Funding for Make it Happen comes from the generosity of memorial donations.

When to consider Hospice: advanced illness or unstable condition, unable to walk or move about without assistance, needing assistance to eat, frequent hospitalizations, pain that is poorly controlled, increased infections, excessive sleeping throughout the day for long periods.

Hospice can be provided: in your own home, in the home of a family member, in an independent living or assisted living apartment, in a skilled nursing facility, at Veteran facilities, in hospitals.

Hospice services include: caregiver support, pain management, symptom control, counseling, education, spiritual support, volunteer support, bereavement support.

As a Medicare-certified provider, our Hospice & Palliative Care professionals are specialists in providing services to adults. Our team is competent, well-trained and carefully screened to provide you with the quality and peace of mind you deserve.




Home Care Services

Our home care services can be appropriate and affordable for long-term care, respite care, and everything in between. Our services are offered to residents in the general community, presently within Westmoreland County. These services include assistance with personal care tasks, light housekeeping tasks, and companionship.

Personal Care Tasks Include: assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation and safe transfers.

Light Housekeeping Tasks Include: assistance with daily household events from laundry to sweeping floors, dusting, meal preparation, grocery shopping and other errands.

Companionship Visits Include: accompanying your loved one to a doctor’s appointment, taking the client to lunch, engaging them in conversation, outings, and mental stimulation.

In addition, our homecare department incorporates the skills and expertise of nurses who assist in care management. Contact us to schedule a full assessment. Our team will assist you and your loved in by creating a customized plan ensuring they get the assistance they need.
